My Dogs in the Movies

Blockbuster Blues: While my dogs came very close to being in some major motion pictures, they sadly do not appear in the final versions of any of these films. We have only fond memories of the work, however, and have no ill will towards the studios, who have kindly allowed us to show some film stills.

Why this thrilling rescue sequence was cut to make more screen time for Kirsten Dunst, I’ll never know.

This scene was too frightening for young children, and threatened an R rating from the MPAA. Despite its intensity, the scene was filmed without harming the little guys.

The cat, however, does not go to the movies.
